What a great day! Took care of our weekly household necessity shopping and cleaned up around the house a little bit. Family from Miami came to town this afternoon to visit and we spent the majority of the evening with them. Went to the Whistle Stop for dinner and then to the Cold Stone Creamery for dessert. I opened some early birthday presents and caught up on some of my shows on TiVo. I realize it doesn't sound like some fantastic day or anything, but I've been in an awesome mood, I've been with good company and things just really couldn't be better ... so, it's been a great day! Tomorrow, we're meeting up with family again for breakfast at Lenny's and then who knows where the day will take us. Maybe I'll go shopping and pick myself out an outfit for my birthday outting tomorrow night. Dinner at Carrabbas has been moved up for tomorrow night instead of Monday (which is my actual birthday) and then I'm heading out to my favorite local bar - Cricketers. Tomorrow's going to rock too!

I'm SO looking forward to going out next weekend for my birthday! It's going to be a 3 day celebration this year. Saturday night = going out, drinking, hanging & having fun, (oh yes, I plan to get fucked up!), Sunday = family & friends coming here for most of the day / night, Monday = dinner @ Carrabbas.

This morning I was in the mood for Einstein Bagels! An everything bagel with light butter did the trick for me! For lunch I had a banana and for dinner, pineaple chicken with brown rice. So, It dawned on me today that my birthday is around the corner. April 26th is the day I eat cake and ice cream (well, usually just cake!), so it's coming up pretty fast. I suppose it's about time to start making some plans. We've got family coming to visit the 23-24th and the 25th is Elijah's moms birthday - my birthday falls on a Monday this year - ick - so I guess I'll make my plans for Saturday night. At least for the beginning (and most fun) celebratory parts. I plan on going out and getting all kinds of fucked up - because it's been a while and I deserve it! Then on Sunday, we'll probably have a double birthday celebration here - for me & his mom (I've never been one to share my birthday - but I guess it's time to grow up & deal with it) ... then I'm going out for dinner on Monday night! I went shopping tihs afternoon & picked up a new pair of shorts and a couple tank (like) tops since it's getting hot outside. I'm tired of living in (thin) sweat pants sinec the baby being born. I still don't fit into all my old clothes, but I'm working on it now! Did I mention that I started my workout routine yesterday? It's kicking my ass - but in a good way. If I can feel everything burning before I'm even finished and I ache so badly I can barely walk the next day, then I'm doing it right! I miss the feeling of a good hard work out and I'm getting back to it with a Vengeance!

I was so excited to start today! The plan was to go back to filming today. We had a model scheduled to shoot, so I got hair and make-up ready & set everything up. She texted about an hour before we were to begin and said she'd been pulled over by the cops - with a suspended license. That being said, we knew at that point she wasn't going to make it, but she said she'd see what she could do. Long story short, we didn't end up filming with her today. So, I've not updated in a couple days as you can see. I've had family in town, staying here - in my computer room - so it's been difficult to get online. I officially got rid of my food poisoning Wednesday. It felt like I was sick forever. The week was great. Spending time with family, going here, there and just about everywhere. The only day the weather wasn't cooperative was Friday, and that was only in the morning. Kayacking in Dunedin, movies, dinner, shopping & more was on the roster for the week. Would have been up for more if I was feeling better. My crazy kiddos even jumped in the pool - which at a current temperature of 65 - is way too fucking cold for me! One of them seized up - almost unable to move because of the shocking temperature change! It's funny to me how kids can do things that adults just CAN'T. Anywho ... today I started back up my work out routine. Even went for a nice long walk, enjoyed lunch at Pickles Plus (an awesome deli not too far from here), and tonight I watched, "I love you, Man". Funny stuff! I just took a long hot bath (ahhhh.... I've missed that for the past week or so!) and I shaved and lotioned up. Tonight, I may just get lucky :D Tomorrow, it's back to filming again - for our stores - and starting next month, I'm also booking with other producers again! Nighty night!

It's been another beautiful day! Times like these make me so happy to live in Florida! The weather couldn't be any more gorgeous if it tried! The place looks so nice after all the "upgrades" and such that I almost don't want to leave the house. I did manage to make it out today though - at least for a short while. Took the family out to watch, "Clash of the Titans". Some fucker cut us in line at the concession stand and I thought for sure Elijah was going to end up beating his ass. This dude kept talking shit and I could tell Elijah was starting to get really annoyed with him. He put this guy right in his place and in no uncertain terms told the guy where he could go. (Proud of my hubby for standing up for his family!) All in all, the movie experience was OK. The movie wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would be, but it wasn't terrible either. The upside is there were some good looking people on the screen. The downside - just not so great of a movie. I guess I'll have to rent the original and compare since I've never seen it. I want to know what's up the the (OWL??) from early in the movie. It wasn't references again but I've got a feeling it's supposed to be important. Don't know! Taco's for dinner tonight! Yum! Oh, and today is the FIRST day I've felt "GOOD" in the last week. I may have finally kicked the food poisoning from Hell!

So much going on around here today! Relative that just moved in down the street had cable people coming, electric people coming, we've got maintenance guy fixing the skylight (that decided to spring a leak during the last storm), pool screen (which busted during the same storm), and a fan (that decided to completely stop working now that it's pretty much HOT out! My mom and step-dad were here finishing up the pressure washing on the pool patio and I worked on cleaning up the pool (which is still WAY too cold to even consider jumping into). The lawn guy did what he needed to do & I think about the only thing NOT accomplished around here today was pest control spraying - but that's not due for another month. All in all, BUSINESS around here all day long!

Happy Easter! I hope everyone has had as wonderful of a day as I've had. I still don't feel great. In fact, I almost feel worse today than I've been feeling for the past couple days, but I still had a great day. Easter backets for the kiddos, a house FULL of family, a feast of delicious foods, Easter egg hunting in the front yard, and otherwise a very relaxing day spending time with family. We'll have company until next Saturday, so not sure what this coming week will bring as of yet. Just hoping I feel better soon!

I still don't feel 100% yet. This is lasting much longer than I'd expected! This morning, I moved everything on the back patio. I didn't realize just how much crap was out there until I was moving it piece by piece! It was about time to get the patio pressure washed! I had my hands full all day, so my mom & step-dad came over and busted their asses for HOURS cleaning it - and it's still got a little more before it'll be finished, but they worked hard & I think it looks great! Ordered a bunch of pizzas for everyone for dinner since I don't feel well enough to cook. Tonight, we're picking more family up at the airport!

Today I'm starting to feel a little better. I can at least go a couple hours without wanting to hurl, so I guess I'm making progress. I've been so freaking busy today I feel like a superstar. Superwoman! Not only did I just have a baby (um ... that's one of the reasons I didn't update for the end of March!), but I've also got food poisoning that's kicking my ass. Up at 8 am this morning, rented a Budget moving truck, picked up furniture (that easily weighs more than me!), loaded it into the truck, basically furnished a small apartment so family can move in after this weekend - to be close to us, and that was on a banana, a diet soda, no sleep, and all before noon! Took care of the weekly necessity household shopping (and bought everything else needed for immediate occupancy for the other house) this afternoon, enjoyed a small portion of food for dinner then headed back to the other place to put everything away, clean the carpet, wash the new dishes, and get it move - in - able! Phew. It's almost 11 pm now and I'm officially TIRED. Time to relax for a bit. I'll be skipping putting up an update tonight because I'm out of steam, but I plan on putting one up tomorrow..... relaxation is calling my name ....

It's already the beginning of April! Sorry I didn't finish writing out all my exciting happenings for the end of March. It was one BUSY month and time didn't allow for any extra computer time than I could take to put up clip updates (on the occasion I could even do that!) Since Tuesday, I've had a wicked case of food poisoning and I've basically been living on the couch/bed. For lunch, I decided to have an apple with peanut butter - and I'm pretty sure that's the last time I'll eat either of those foods for quite a while. I washed my red apple. Dried it with a clean paper towel. Cut it with a clean knife on a clean plate. I used a clean spoon to fill my plate with peanut butter I'd already eaten half the jar of ... and I've been sick since. :( I guess it was just a bad apple! Needless to say, since Tuesday, I've lost 6 lbs (hey, what girl can complain about that) ... because I've been too nauseous to put anything near my mouth. Ugh. Can't wait til I feel better. We've got family in town, staying here. It's Spring Break. My poor kiddo is hating life cause I'm couped up in the house too sick to leave the couch ... so I'm really going to have to make it up to him! More family is coming Saturday night and staying until next Saturday. It's going to be another busy week coming up. For now ... I sleep!
